Sweden will do the unthinkable and make Canada lose twice in a row in WC.

With the late addition of Ekholm we have a chance. But this is still one of the weakest teams I've seen us send to the WCs. Canada will win. I'd be willing to put money on it.

Prediction:

Canada 3, Sweden 2, as McDavid scores his first of the tournament.

Be interesting to see how the Canadians bounce back after facing adversity for the first time in the tournament on Day 12.

I'm a big fan of Tre Kronor but its time to go home, this team has no business in SF.
but I would like them to prove me wrong.

Think this one is gonna be closer than expected, atleast scoring wise, canada will win the shots for sure but, i think Markström will play his best game.

1-goal game either way?

Canada is the clear favorite yet I don't find myself at all confident heading in. Feels like a 50-50 chance.

I haven't seen a single Canada game this tourney. But I'm assuming they will play with an aggressive fore-check, apply pressure on Swedens d and lot's of net presence. This Tre Kronor team wan't to hang on to the puck and play themselves out of their own zone but against better teams they are prone to mistakes and can hardly skate themselves into the o-zone. I'm hoping it will all come together in this game but think we would have a better shot if we played more North American. Dump, chase, win board battles and lots of net presence. We are going to see some mistakes from the Canadian team and there is enough skill on this team to take advantage of that. But Canada is going to be in control of this game. They are going to set the pace.

Lol im not even gonna bother to watch this game more then read this thread... since i cant stand to watch this guys embarrass the yellow and blue colors.
