LOL Montreal is not as crazy for the WJHC as some of you here. Add to that it is 1PM on a weekday (I know a lot are still on vacation but still), the fact it's not Team Canada and that prices are ridiculously expensive and you have your answer.

Russia is doing a really good job of not making risky plays, they always have a forward high just in case of a turnover they always have 3 guys back negating any type of odd man rush. In the D-zone they're kind of playing zone coverage allowing shots from the point but nothing down low. U.S is really having a hard time dealing with it, not doing anything on the rush at all.

If the US ties it, they're dead.

If it were up to Canadians... Hockey would only exist inside the boundaries of Canada and Canada would play Canada in a Canadian arena filled with only Canadians built by Canadians paid for by money from ticket sales from previous games consisting of said Canada vs Canada matchups.

Possibly, I like the way they're playing though, U.S hasn't had any type of real big chances, granted they spent half the game in the penalty box but still, 5 on 5 isn't as one sided as some would've guessed. Russia playing a good game defensively

Russians are playing a very pro-like game. Short changes, hard forecheck, conservative short passes and minimizing turnovers. It is really negating the US on the rush.

I am not trying to poke at the Russians but they have looked awful. The U.S. has owned them.

The only thing funnier than all the sniping on the sidelines is the backhanded "what are you talking about??? most of us want you to win cause we'll totes beat you!"
