Whoever teh winger was just got mesmerized by Eichel's moves and didn't get to the open side. Was it Wood?

Again, not surprised.

DeAngelo on the board. The Canadian viewing party retreats for a few minutes.

 Most of us have been rooting for the U.S.

The way the U.S. plays, Canada could beat them 4 games out of 5. The way Russia plays, I have no idea what we will be up against - they could drive us to fits.

I guess I'm in the minority when it comes to thinking that the refs have done a good job today. I hate NHL reffing because its all circumstantial. I don't care if you've already called 99 penalties on one team, if a player breaks the rule, call that team again.

Only me thinking the refs have been fairly consistent?

Nope, i think they've done a great job.
The players on the other hand, but junior hockey is usually undisciplined and that's way it fun to watch. Game never stops changing...

You've got half the Canadians here complaining about how bad the call was, the other half insists it was a good call and all are very vocal. I'm really not sure where you're going with this?

Guess ;)

The refs have officiated very consistently so far. IMO, the first Russian penalty and one of the US penalties were weak calls.

Americans blaming Canadians.

I couldn't care less who wins.

I just want entertainment.

The U.S. scoring there helps.
