Not a good start for Finland with the penaltie, but with Kähkönen they may stay without gaol in this PP.

Cant understand why TC takes so many penalties. Sure they let a lot slide in the past but they been calling a lot of things this tournament. Just puzzling is HFboards posters who want them to hit even more. Should be pretty clear that the players don't have the skill to hit more without getting penalties.

Just play hockey got damn it.

Unless Lowre gave them a lesson during the break I guess TC will sit in the box even more during the third period. So undisciplined.

Why didn't Marner shoot that. Instead he goes for the low percentage fancy play.

That's pretty much what he's been doing most of the tournament, except for last game against Sweden where he made better plays. I'm sure these fancy plays work out more in junior and lead to some really nice goals, but with better competition they are awful plays to make most of the time.

I'm just all out emotion right now. Finns going to lose this to stupid penalties again?

It went from a 5 on 3 to a 4 on 4.

Finland scored soon afterwards.

It DID NOT!! You are wrong! It went from 5 on 4 to 5 on 4. Watch the game. It was an off setting call. They were going to go down to 5 on 3 and then didn't. It had ZERO effect on the run of play except as a missed opportunity. They were only on the power play because Jake put them there with his forechecking and driving to the net.

There have been some brutal mistakes in this game: the Hickey slip for a goal, the give away with 11 seconds to go to give up the 2-1 goal (after such a brutal giveaway), and GKing was by far the biggest.

This penalty we had 8 pages complaining about was absolutely a nothing event in the game other than a lost opportunity to go 5 on 3. Stupid, YES! But did nothing to the game
