We can't get goaltending for shit in this tournament. Both 06 havent developed as well as I hoped at this point...

Nah. They've been excellent vs both Slovakia and Czechia. Then they both let in some soft ones vs Sweden but Kirsch was solid again vs Kazakhstan.

The mistake was to come back with Kirsch for today. Should have stuck with Neuenschwander who was the nr.1 heading into the tournament. That 2nd goal he wouldn't have stopped either though. That's just horrible defense.

Kirsch was good vs Kazakhstan, Neuenschwander was fantastic vs Czechia, even got the best player award. Yeah, they both made a mess of the Sweden game but it happens. It's one game. The only mistake was not to turn back to Neuenschwander for today's game. Neuenschwander was the nr.1 heading into the tournament and the best goalie available so he should have started this one.

I doubt Neuenschwander will be drafted with no more opportunities to show himself internationally.

Who cares about exhibitions? It's about getting used to everything about getting ready for game 1 and Neuenschwander sure was.

Beglieri was fantastic, yeah. But other than that this is the best goalie performance Switzerland got for quite a few years. As a tandem, Neuenschwander and Kirsch have been pretty good. Yeah, they made a mess of the Sweden game but other than that Jenni can't blame his goalies. He's the one to blame.

Also, lol @ Jenni changing goalies. Should have started Neuenschwander. It's too late. What's Neuenschwander supposed to do now?
