Well if Slovakia wins Canada would play Slovakia next instead of Russia. How do you figure?

Half this board would have been able to score from that position.
edit: apparently the quote was broken.
How the US gets a 2+10 for an identical hit and the refs just ignore this is indicative of how cooked this tourney is.

They did, the 2 + 10 the US got a few minutes prior was nearly identical. As a US fan I thought it was a good hit. I’d be pissed if a US player got penalized for that hit.

Kaliyev and Caufield are both supposed to be right wingers. Kaliyev was on left wing. I remember Caufield setting up a goal last year from the left side on the PP so I thought that was his natural side.![]()
It's everyone but Caufield's fault that this prospect whose marquee strength is goal scoring, is not scoring goals.

I don't know what there natural positions are. I thought Caufield was on the left side on the PP but I aam not positive. So basically Kaliyev got moved out of position to make room for Caufield, and has been more successful?
And? I keep seeing all this entitlement by proxy saying Caufield should be on the first line every thread but I've never seen a good argument on what he's done to deserve it. If Caufield isn't having a poor tournament he should be scoring more without needing the team's best playmaker to make it happen if he's such a gifted goal scorer. But that's not the case here. It may not be indicative of his future potential, but he's having a comparatively poor tournament compared to the rest of the roster. I don't disagree that Kaliyev hasn't really deserved his spot either, but I'd sooner see Boldy take that spot than Caufield.Kaliyev and Caufield are both supposed to be right wingers. My quote was meant to be for the guy who was saying Caufield should have been the one to score there, was not a sleight on Kaliyev.lol gotta love these boards. crapping on him because he hasn't scored but when he does it doesn't count because anyone could have.
And looking a lot more engaged. Pushing the play a lot more his first shift back. Like seeing that. I thought he looked sleepy at times in the first.Zegras is out there.
