And? I keep seeing all this entitlement by proxy saying Caufield should be on the first line every thread but I've never seen a good argument on what he's done to deserve it. If Caufield isn't having a poor tournament he should be scoring more without needing the team's best playmaker to make it happen if he's such a gifted goal scorer. But that's not the case here. It may not be indicative of his future potential, but he's having a comparatively poor tournament compared to the rest of the roster. I don't disagree that Kaliyev hasn't really deserved his spot either, but I'd sooner see Boldy take that spot than Caufield.

I have only said he should have started the WJC on Zegras line being the best goal scorer on the team and either it worked or if his performance was the same as it has been then move him down. And since the lineup they used resulted in neither of the top 2 lines working perfectly they should have tried mixing them up
