BROOKLYN, NY - The Player Safety Committee of the National Women’s Hockey League has suspended Buffalo Beauts forward Jess Jones and defender Sarah Casorso one game each for their actions during the team’s game last Saturday night in Rochester against the Metropolitan Riveters. Jones and Casorso will miss Buffalo’s home game on Saturday against Boston.

Casorso also received her suspension for a pair of third-period plays: a crosscheck at 11:11 and fight at 14:37. A member of last year’s Isobel Cup-winning team, Casorso is permitted to participate in the pre-game banner ceremony at the Beauts’ home opener on Saturday.

So outside of Burgie who works for them, who has gone to a game? I'm not in town, but if I was, I'd more than happily support a team that puts an entertaining, winning product on the ice.

We've gone to a couple. It's a lot of fun to see them play. Yeah, it gets sloppy sometimes, but they are definitely worth supporting and frequently do things like autograph signings after the game. Feels like a small town atmosphere, in a good way.
