I like Montreal, Toronto and Boston jerseys the best. Not a big fan of Ottawa, Minny and New York.

Nothing too terrible, just not a fan.

Looks like chatgpt threw up some of these logos

The sirens not having a Medusa/triskelion-esque logo is a shame and I want my idea/name they stole back for the future ushl team I was going to buy

Here’s our goal horn btw

The logos are too bulky but I like Toronto's though even though it's a bit similar to the Blues. The Sirens gives me some nostalgic Detroit Vipers vibes.

Boston's is nice too, wonder if it's a nod to the Whalers.

By and large, these look great to me. Agreed that the logos are too big for the cut of the jersey in most cases, but they all stand out, they all look "major league" for lack of a better word, they pretty much nailed the assignment. Even Ottawa's, which is still a Temu Calgary Flames jersey, looks more like its own thing than when all we had was the logo and wordmark.

Rankings:
Toronto
Montreal
Boston/Minnesota
New York
Ottawa

Minnesota looks like a mashup of the logos of the MJHL's Winnipeg Freeze and Winnipeg Blues.

That's not a knock - I frickin love it

Toronto and Boston are good too. The rest are adequate.

All look pretty solid, definitely a step in the right direction for the league.

Would be cool to be a fly on the wall for the discussions about team colors — seems like there are both advantages and drawbacks to using the same color scheme as the men’s team(s) in the same market. Interesting that only MTL went that route.

Not bad, not bad.

Boston’s design is fine, and I like the icy color scheme, but the logo is mostly “hollow” so it seems to blend into the background. They need a filled-in version of the logo which will pop more.

Montreal is a case of an ugly logo which makes a great crest on a jersey. Overall this is one of the better new pro hockey jerseys I’ve seen lately, nice proportions and color balance to create a unique look.

New York reminds me of a 90s minor league team. Not my personal favorite aesthetic, but it’s a high quality example of that aesthetic.

Minnesota… I would show this jersey to a class of design students to explain how NOT to design a hockey logo. This logo flat-out cannot be effective as a jersey crest. It leaves a weird amount of white space and throws the whole torso off-center. This is a bad, bad look for that reason alone.

Ottawa seems generic, and I hate gray lettering on a dark background. But otherwise it’s inoffensive. They need a less generic logo to take it up a notch.

Toronto’s blue is the best of the bunch. The promo video does a great job of showing how this can be worn as streetwear under a jacket and come off really nicely. I’m a big fan of this color combo.

Overall this is a strong aesthetic rollout for them. I appreciate that they stuck to the fundamentals and used a traditional template, and used interesting colors and shapes to create something new. This feels like it was made by hockey fans for hockey fans.

Most of them are really nice. I've never liked trim that doesn't completely wrap around and a number of these jerseys utilize that...but that's generally the strongest negative opinion I have on most of these that aren't just me repackaging my thoughts on the names and logos.

Ottawa's problem is less the jersey and more...everything else about that brand. The gray does help differentiate it from the Flames a bit, which is good, but gray sucks as an accent color and it sucks from a readability standpoint. I've seen a lot worse, but they still need to start over again and retry this within a few years. It's just a crap name and logo with a mediocre jersey.

I will say that I like the Sirens jerseys more than I was expecting to. I don't like the logo and this doesn't change that, but leaning into the 90s aspect of it immediately gives them character/an identity. I don't love it, but I like them more than I expected to. Montreal has the best jersey to go with the best logo. Boston's colors look great on a jersey. Toronto, uh, has nice colors. Minnesota really didn't reinvent the wheel with any aspect of their brand, but they still pulled off a solid look that may well work its way into my collection (if Pittsburgh doesn't get a team soon). More purple in sports, please.
