Ok then playoffs rules for regular season works
There's no "playoffs rules" though and the number of penalties in playoffs games is generally equal to what we see in the regular season; the only difference is the intensity being higher and thus refs "letting more go". It just screams to me they want to keep the quota consistent, and thus we end up with even more inconsistent reffing in the playoffs.

Shots are 12-3 and we are leading 2-0 on our 3 shots.lol

Dallas looking for a killer 2nd period .. I've seen their killer 2nd period twice this series and it was exceptional.

He wasn’t great in the Avs series either.

He’s a good goalie, but back when this site was “OMG Stars will win the Cup”, he was called phenomenal, etc.. When he’s just very streaky.
The Bob comparison, as a Cats fan, fits. He's great when he's great but can let in two goals on a few shots.

Maybe don't allow a 50 goal scorer to get 10 feet in front of the net without anybody within a stick's reach, rather than blaming the goalie.

I thought McDavid was carrying Hyman....or so goes the narrative of some

Both of those men have played over 2300 games combined. Both captains. Both played for great teams. Simply can’t compete with good teams. Can turn it on when you need them to. It’s on the players and coach.
??? Benn and Pavelski both have fantastic playoff resumes. A team shouldn't need to rely on an almost 40 yr old to win a playoff series

He reads plays so well though which is why he’s so damn good vs power plays. He can anticipate where things are going which is why he seems most vulnerable usually off rebounds or off even strength shots

Where did Edmonton’s PK rank in season? Wasn’t it bottom 15?
Not sure though a lot of their stats improved under Knob that doesn’t get taken into consideration due to the horrendous start they had under Woodcroft.

He sucks. And drags his team with him. If you cannot trust your goalie to make a save, you start to overthink and try to avoid anything that could lead to a shot on goal.
2 goals on 3 shots and the whole team looks like shit…

I know McDavid is good, but the Stars are giving him wayyy too much attention and it's not working. That's several times now in this series they've double covered him or Draisaitl and left someone else wide open. He was not a threat on that last PP goal and yet 2 guys went to him

Enlighten me, he lets in two goals on a few shots but are they back breaking, momentum killing, stinkers that go in a minute before a period starts or ends?
