I felt that last year with Vegas. So many bounces that went wrong...the whole Petrangelo situation...Nurse getting a suspension for a fight. Its insane how much has to go right to make it in this league. Bright times ahead for the Canucks though.

I read your post the other night about why you dislike Edmonton.

Oh and about "luck out" Edmonton didn't change the draft rules.

I was and have been a Ducks fan for a lot longer. While my local team ramped up to a quick cup win, on the flip end of my fandom I've been enduring the pains of a rebuild including the team I've supported since childhood having the dubious honor of having the worst defensive season in league history (in terms of SOG allowed), so please spare me the comparative suffering crap.

I don't begrudge Oilers fans for being excited to finally have their chance at a chip after an extended period of suffering. I just have my issues with the Oilers team and organization. Not everyone has to like your boys. My local team is probably the most reviled franchise in the league currently, you don't see me trying to change people's mind or getting offended about the LTIR stuff. I'm probably one of the few Vegas fans on this site that openly criticized Vegas for their cap maneuvering this year.

That was honestly one of the most embarrassing performances by a team winning to go to the cup finals I have ever seen. Edmonton is the essence of mediocrity. They have three or four great players and the rest is nothing special. Outshot 35-10. Florida honestly should win in 5. Is it guaranteed? No, but I would be shocked if Florida does not win this in 5 or at most 6.

Well if you didn't like this game you could check out the other 3 wins in the series. And Dallas only won 2

Give credit where it’s due. The Oilers routinely outshoot and outplay their opponents, and when they win a couple times being outshot, people jump on them.

I want the Panthers to win for obvious reasons, but these guys deserve to be in the SCF, and they have a fantastic shot at winning.
