They are? Maybe a few are. All sports teams have crazy ass fans.

At least we know you won't be cheering for them.
Brief playoff history between Anaheim/Vegas and Edmonton. Not quite rivals but I'd rather see the Panthers win. As much as I'll admit the Oil are being well coached and elevating their defensive systems when it matters I'd rather see a team that has never won over a team that needed to luck out and get the best player in hockey to get where they are.

I'd have cheered for the Panthers over Dallas as it is.

Man if the Canucks had Demko they could be in this spot going to the final right now.... Not that EDM didn't play well against us but.. ugh.

Anyways congrats to EDM they earned this series. Even tonight Dallas had the puck but EDM defended so well. Its the big difference in their team this year.

Will be an interesting final. Florida will be favoured but the Oilers special teams could be the advantage they need to pull it off. So far only 1 of 3 teams they've faced have actually scored a PP goal which is incredible.

I'm ashamed for you. Act like you've won it before.

That was honestly one of the most embarrassing performances by a team winning to go to the cup finals I have ever seen. Edmonton is the essence of mediocrity. They have three or four great players and the rest is nothing special. Outshot 35-10. Florida honestly should win in 5. Is it guaranteed? No, but I would be shocked if Florida does not win this in 5 or at most 6.
The amount of salty tears coming out in this thread is hilarious! Edmonton beat Dallas handily and the haters are only picking out this last game as some sort of justification to shit on the team because they are upset they were wrong about this series.

Edmonton is not going to get 10 shots in every game against Florida, jesus christ! They are going to roll on all cylinders.

Edmonton was a very different team the last 2 games, looked more like the Islanders of the 80's than the high flying offensive Oilers. Impressive, 2 curses to break the Perry curse and the Canadian winnewr curse.

The Oilers didn't play a great game but they kept most of the Dallas shots from the outside and not many second chances. Dallas gave everything they had, but the Oilers overall were the better team. 4 wins left.

Heiskanen is great and all, but after the lack of urgency on the final two rushes of the game, can we please never mention his name with Makar ever again?
Heiskanen I have yet to ever look at as anywhere near the level of Makar. The guys had 1 great season. I don't even think he's phenomenal defensively. I really don't see what others see in him.

Didn't think this even needed to be said but he clearly had nothing left in the tank. Over 30 minutes played this game, and that was probably what a 3 minute shift? He did what he could and the play never stopped so he never got that timeout break he needed.

Florida is a much better, more consistent, more complete team than Dallas. I honestly think Florida is going to physically manhandle the Oilers.

It's great to have a Canadian team in the finals again (in a non-COVID year). This will be a fun series with a ton of hype given that McDavid is in it. Both teams fully deserve to be there and are playing excellent hockey.
