Well deserved goal by Lias, he had a good period oustide of one bad pass, and good a good job hunting the puck prior to getting the goal.
ADA looked very good for his 1st game and missing some of camp.
Would love to see some more from the two Ks
 
Lias baby!!. No coincidence either. He's now going to the dirty areas and battling like a SOB.

As I said earlier, this dude is a completely different guy this year and it's VERY VERY noticeable.

I think Quinn needs to realize that in the NHL these days you can't take the first couple of weeks/month to get into the season and get up to speed. You need your team set and ready to hit the ground running. Of course things might need to be changed around, but you can't spend all of training camp dinking around to see how scrubs look for a callup and finalize the roster and lines at the last minute and expect things to go smoothly.

Lucky for him the team probably isn't going anywhere this season

they're playing a super generic offensive zone setup especially on dumps that takes 30 seconds to prepare for on game day and getting outmanned hard when they do it

they're also not very well equipped to be a grinding team. this is a coaching issue.

I can't remember exactly what he said, and I don't use my Twitter account, but I would guess that people's reactions were to him inferring that guys like Staal, Kreider, and ZBad aren't good lockerroom guys.

Which does seem like a bit of a douchey thing to say. But it was just a posted quote with no video; I'm sure he was smirking when he said it.

I have to agree, his mobility is superior to Trouba, doesn't have the same shot but we all know with the trade and contract it won't happen. Similar to how the Rangers forced McDonagh to be on the PP.

Yeah I was dabbling in defending Strome earlier today but I want to take it all back after being reminded how slow and ineffective he is. He’s an anchor of a center especially with a speedster like Kreider and dynamic player like Kakko. Any success those 3 players have together will be in spite of Strome being a square peg in a round hole.
