Marc Staal is still really terrible. There were 2 #1X jerseys and 1 #X8 jerseys in front of Henrik on that shot and none of them #18.

I'm fine with it so long as they keep it clean in their own end and generate shots and quality scoring chances

Leetch was a great player, but not a great captain. Leetch is one of my favorite all-time players but he never really seemed comfortable being the captain.

Drury was the exact opposite. Not a great player anymore due to his knees, but still a great leader and captain.

That's a rather bold statement. There have only been seven, so it's not really saying much.

Meh, don't need these guys going 110% in preseason.

Of course the parade to the penalty box over **** that wasn't a problem doesn't help.

preseason hockey isn't exactly "real" hockey

Also, players are still trying to find the line they can toe with the faceoffs and it's going to be called tightly at least through the preseason, maybe they'll loosen up a bit when the season starts
