Andersson has the grit to pivot Kreider with a smooth scorer/passer like Krav, but while hopefully improved, Lias skating was an abortion up until last 3 wks of season, and even then it was barely adequate.
I get since he was a 7OA they have to play him higher and hope he develops, just regret how unfair that is to others.
Kreider and the correct RW would be better served by someone with greater skating/passing talents who is defensively responsible. Hmmmn, is there a more complementary C available? What about that guy on the 4th line with two checking Ws?
Hope springs eternal, even if it is fall/winter that's coming.
I might be tempted to try Names at 2C instead of Lias — all else equal. I think he satisfies what you describe and, if he’s successful, could generate trade interest (even with that heinous contract).
