I know lots of people want to keep the kids in the minors this year, but if this game is an accurate representation of Lias, it'll very hard to do that. Him and Fast seem like they'd be a huge pain together.
I just hope he gets good ice time if he stays on the team right now

Our last two draftees to break 60 points were two of the greatest scoring d-men of all time lmao

Long live Tony Amonte.

Stepan had 55 in 68 in 14-15, so he almost certainly would have, without injuries.
And 44 in 48 in the lockout year.

Really happy with Lias and now maybe TonyD, but I still miss Stepan.
Yeah, Stepan has definitely pro-rated to 60 in those two years, but it's still a frustrating fact that we have to deal with for now.

The Devils board think we are celebrating the Stanley cup here, but it was unexpected and we were behind the whole game is difficult in hockey so to win it in OT felt really good! :)

- Lias
- Buch
- Fast

All three had a huge game, but it was a team win and many others contributed as well!

Celebrating a cup?

Most of our GDT consisted of crapping on Staal

lol advance stats right here! :D

Staal is SO bad I can't get over it. I hope to God he is an extra this year
Yes it will be a difficult decision for Quinn since Staal has experience in NHL. And he had some praise for him this weekend when he come fit for the camp, but maybe we will see O`Gara instead this year? It will be a hard competition nonetheless to get on this year New York Rangers team for sure.

Staal is going to play.

Whether or not he continues to play later in the season, specifically after the TDL is another question all together. I thought he was massively outplayed by the rest of the D who dressed tonight.

Pionk with Lias and Fast look like a dangerous threesome.

1. Andersson
2. Buchnevich
3. DeAngelo

I see some people (mainly on the game thread) saying that Pionk is better than DeAngelo. Maybe he is. Maybe he isn’t. But tonight, I don’t know how you can say Pionk was better. I’m a huge fan of both (I loved Pionk since the signing and I loved ADA even before he was with the Rangers), but DeAngelo was hands down the superior player tonight. I know it’s preseason, but it still feels damn good to see some progression from ADA.

DeAngelo>Pionk and I'm not as down on Pionk as some.

He didn't get any credit for it, but he dropped a dime on Buchnevich's stick which eventually led to the 3rd goal and that wasn't an easy pass.
