Quickie is great as always at getting away with .49 of a hook or a hold or a slash and always having it rounded down to no penalty.

Thats because he's a good hockey player. Gets under the skin of the other team and effectively deters them without having to take penalty minutes.

McLeod would start punching the other player, and think it helps the team.

DeAngelo again handling the puck great oozing skill can’t shoot the puck at all and not putting up any points because of it. That worries me about his future because he needs to produce to be an nhler. Not good enough defensively otherwise.

Lindqvist no way. Will be back in the SHL soon.

Pionk has been terrible.

No one else looks all that good but that’s to be expected.

Yea DeAngelo has a pretty mediocre shot for an offensive defenseman, but so does Pionk, and he put up points. What I’m saying is that even though DeAngelo’s shot needs work, that won’t stop him from potentially becoming an NHL player. His mediocre defense might, but not his shot. All he needs to do is get it to the net, and he does that. Shooting is probably the least important skill for a defenseman, in my opinion. It goes hockey IQ, puck-moving, defense, skating, physicality, and then finally shot, in my opinion.

Foggarty's had a great period. Some high IQ plays in all three zones. Lindgren too looks more competent on the off. blueline than the scouting reports suggested.

I’m actually surprised at how decent they look.

Yes our defensive structure is a bit off at times - so there are some unnecessary penalties based on that reason. In Quinn`s defense it take some time to get used to a new system, but I thought we played better in 2nd. for sure.
