Lias easily the best Ranger on the ice thus far.

DeAngelo again handling the puck great oozing skill can’t shoot the puck at all and not putting up any points because of it. That worries me about his future because he needs to produce to be an nhler. Not good enough defensively otherwise.

And not saying he will be anything special, i know nothing about him, but i dont write players off after 4 minutes.

Is this in regards to Lindqvist? If so, I'm not writing him off. It's just if you read about him and watch some of him from last year you see he needs time and space to be successful. Not a lot of action in the dirty areas. Again, he's interesting, but if he struggles it shouldn't be a surprise, given what he is.

Too many damn penalties again.

Towards the end of that period I thought we did a better job of standing up at the blueline as the Devils enter the zone. Before that I felt we were backing in too deep and our gap control was off.
Fast and Andersson would make 2/3rds of a good 3rd line for game 1 IMO
