What are the chances Ho-Sang shows up Dal Colle and plays better than him?

Bestbestbest case scenario: one day a Descharnais type.

From what we've seen to date, I don't see it.

Something tells me he'll have a decent career somewhere in Europe.

That's why I HATED the Cammarata pick. There were so many more talented players available. Cammarata would have been available later in the draft (4th or 5th round).

I think Mayfield would be higher on the totem pole than Pulock. If we need a PP presence, I could see Pulock getting a bit more consideration.

Depends on who goes down really. I think Mayfield needs a lot more time though (Like 2-3 more years in the AHL).

I disagree with 2-3 years. I would say 1.5 max.

Edit: With the amount of young talent around him I could see him being jumped by Pulock and Pokka which would essentially force him to stay in the AHL for longer. But I don't think he would 'need' that amount of time.

It's a subjective topic really. Who knows how fast Mayfield's game will take off (if it does) and one has to wonder what playing under Thompson will do for his development. Mayfield still seems like a guy who's growing into his body in my eyes, hence why said 2-3 years.

Isn't it nice having too many good prospects?

Snow lost his marbles last season and it started with this pick (and was followed by the Niño and Vanek trades, no goaltending help, etc...). But I have to admit I've been a fan of what he's done the past few months.

He followed up a crappy mid round draft in 2013 with a bad late round draft in 2014.Loved the 1st four picks in 2014, but didn't understand wasting a 3rd round pick by trading it for a 3rd round pick in 2015, and then the last 3 picks were throwaways.

I will admit, he's done well overall in the draft, some very good top end talents.

U20 games this week as part of the Canadian Summer Development camp.

Dal Colle and Sorokin on respective rosters.

Here is a link for schedule and they may have game streams: http://stats.hockeycanada.ca/schedule/league_instance/20720?subseason=165586

Great to hear, I'd love it if Sorokin is the #1 goalie for team Russia at the WJC in December. I wonder if Linus Soderstrom is Sweden's goalie ?

Also, if you click next to boxscore, it has a button to click for streaming the game live. Gonna try and catch Russia tomorrow. And then Canada on Tuesday.

Sweet, shame Ho-Sang didn't make Canada though. Gonna look forward to Dal Colle and Sorokin though

Wonder if Linus Soderstrom is on the Swedish team.

BTW, for those who want to watch, a link was posted on the main prospects board, and IF you have the Fasthockey app on your Roku (Playstation and Xbox ?), you can watch it through thjat as well by chosing the Hockey Canada station. They have some WU18 and WU17 stuff going on as well. You can go online to fasthockey.com and sign up (It's free for live games)

Ho Sang doesn't get invited because Team Canada appears to dislike him.

It is absurd.

He's not the only team that doesn't like Ho-Sang. I remember watching the video of Snow calling Vancouver's Benning, trying to trade up, and Benning kept the pick, but told Snow, "no we don't want him" or "no we're not taking him", I think it wound up being Mccann who Vancouver took 24th. It'll be fun watching Ho-Sang's career vs McCann's.

Yup, 7pm eastern. Just click on the Hockeycanada atation on the app, look for the Russia vs Czech game at 7pm, and click play. For those who don't have the app, you can watch on your computers by clicking on this link, click boxscore, and then click stream game. Here's the link and the instructions.

go to Box Scores, you'll find "watch live" in front of every game that will lead you to a stream.
