Mateiko scored such timely goals in the WJC, size is amazing and the skating looked fine, and is likely to have a big postseason. Likeliest to contribute above replacement level of guys remaining.

Franks age puts him out of the prospect conversation for me

Went Rybinski. He has gotten lost in the shuffle a bit this year with the hype surrounding other prospects. Doesn’t project to be more than a third liner at best but I like his game a lot and he has shown great growth each year at the AHL level. Super high compete level and never stops moving his feet. He’s missed some time with injuries so hopefully the second half of the season is big for his development. He did earn that random call up but didn’t get into a game.
