Will Scouch posted his video on the Canes draft. He graded it as a 1C (which basically means excellent potential but simultaneously very boom-or-bust). Both Badinka and Artamonov are going to be really interesting to track over the next few years. Badinka feels like the most natural Pesce successor in our RHD farm crop so far, except in the off-chance that Legault way out-performs his draft slot. Scouch's evaluation of Artamonov as a high-energy guy with great forechecking and analytical profile kind of makes me think that he could be the Martinook successor whenever he decides to hang his skates. All of the other guys they drafted are basically stash-and-wait lottery tickets.

Badinka turning into Pesce would be fine.

Artamanov I'm hoping has a little more than a Martinook type.
Well, we can all hope. That said, Martinook is a 1st round draft pick and Artamoanov is a 2nd round pick, so......LOOSER!

What are you guys thinking of Nystrom? looks like he's having a decent post draft career. Any chance he makes it to the show?
Nystrom has a chance at making the league. He is a righty shot which helps and so does growing 3 inches since his draft. He doesn’t do anything at an elite level but a solid all around guy. His window will be tight as he won’t step into the system until he is 23 and he’ll have strong competition. if he can have a strong showing next season at camp and plays in Chicago for a year, he could be a serious roster contender in 26-27 for 3RD.
