Very nice. I think with some reps, he’ll be better defensively. He works hard on his game. And he has a ton to prove. I’m way higher on him than I was on Skjei.
I will say that Skjei has developed his game considerably since he first came on board. His offensive game still leaves something to be desired, but him and Pesce made up maybe the best defensive tandem in the league when it came to penalty-kill metrics, at least in the regular season.
