GDT: Preseason stickpuck

Very nice. I think with some reps, he’ll be better defensively. He works hard on his game. And he has a ton to prove. I’m way higher on him than I was on Skjei.

I will say that Skjei has developed his game considerably since he first came on board. His offensive game still leaves something to be desired, but him and Pesce made up maybe the best defensive tandem in the league when it came to penalty-kill metrics, at least in the regular season.

Not that surprising. If Skjei has one thing, it’s speed, which is probably the most important thing on the PK. And yea Pesce is just amazing. I never said Skjei was bad. I am just always higher on DeAngelo, since he’s my favorite player in the league.
