A decent line up to truly assess the young players against a team with no less than 4-5 goons if you include Touré.Pretty awesome lineup should be entertaining

Keeper is the only player in the Habs line up that can protect his teammates somewhat.Thats pretty bad against a goon squad... Injury waiting to happen.
Wouldn't be surprised to see Kovacevic have to fight. At least Xhekaj has been teaching him some moves.Thats pretty bad against a goon squad... Injury waiting to happen.
I believe there are only 7 players left over from the team that went to the cup final and not 1 dmanGoing to the game for the first time since before Covid.
Weird fact: There are only three players still on the team from late 2019: Suzuki, Armia, and Gallagher. Primeau was technically on the roster, but played only 2 games.
Not a single defenseman remains from the Habs' pre-Covid roster. Armia and Gallagher are leftovers at this point, so other than Suzuki, the forwards are almost all new.
I know Trudeau can too but I don't really want to see him fight.Keeper is the only player in the Habs line up that can protect his teammates somewhat.
I like the idea of trying to play Dach with Slafkovsky, Dach plays a very possession heavy game which gels more with Slaf than Suzuki/Caufield who are more about quick execution.
However we have the last change, our top 6 should play against their top6. I'm just hoping that Imama is not on cocaine tonight and try to injured everyone. I think that Gignac-Bourque and Davidson will play against Ottawa checking line of Kelly-Kastelic-MacEwen.Thats pretty bad against a goon squad... Injury waiting to happen.
2 s in Andersson its not the powerhorse, its the former 7th overall pickThat's the first line I think makes most sense as of now.
Good that Slaf is getting another game right after his first one. Hope to see him protect the puck and temporizing the play, drive the net. I've always wanted to see him with RHP and also Dach.
I think MSL realized Heineman is not a forecheck demon and prefers to be more of a triggerman. Interesting combo with powerhorsey. I don't think Mesar will touch the puck much.
Davidson do your thing.
I moved to the Ottawa area in 2014 so I definitely don't hate them, they're actually my second Canadian team now they're like an annoying little brother you love to beat up onGeez, why do you guys care about/hate Ottawa so much? It's not like they've been relevant since 2017 and it's not like they have a lot of fans...
I went to the Senators discussion to compare and it's just conversation about their teams depth pieces.
I come here and it's all hatred/malcontent towards the sens or their fans.
Why? What has happened over the last several years for a team with no relevance or fans to piss you guys off this much?
I'd kill for a rivalry, but the hatred seems one sided.

I had no doubt this was what his mindset would be. If we start struggling out of the gate he will revert to things that were working last season. The fact that Dvorak is out for a month may delay that some. This comment makes sense.
I'd go moreSooooo..... we are looking at something like....
Money - Suzuki - Cole
RHP - Dach - Slaf
Andy - Newhook - Gally
for regular season? I could get behind this.
Oh and Slaf is playing tonight?!?!?!?!
