I’m fed up of constantly playing against Ottawa and Toronto. It seems it’s always the same two teams we play against.

I would be happy if we didn’t play them for a few years. Give me some new teams.

That's the first line I think makes most sense as of now.

Good that Slaf is getting another game right after his first one. Hope to see him protect the puck and temporizing the play, drive the net. I've always wanted to see him with RHP and also Dach.

I think MSL realized Heineman is not a forecheck demon and prefers to be more of a triggerman. Interesting combo with powerhorsey. I don't think Mesar will touch the puck much.

Davidson do your thing.

In what world does it make sense that an imbecile like D J Smith has a coaching job??
Dorion needed to keep his last fuse, if things don't go well mid-season, he fires the coach and bet on the change to boost his team

Expect Smith fired mid-season and Dorion fired at the end of the season. Only then, new ownership will start putting it's stamp on the franchise

He could be both but i think if he’s gonna be successful in the NHL it’s with his shot.

He reminded me of post-decapitation Pacioretty in the scrimmages. I hope, and I think we will see a bit more urgency from him playing against real opponents.

Going to the game for the first time since before Covid.

Weird fact: There are only three players still on the team from late 2019: Suzuki, Armia, and Gallagher. Primeau was technically on the roster, but played only 2 games.

Not a single defenseman remains from the Habs' pre-Covid roster. Armia and Gallagher are leftovers at this point, so other than Suzuki, the forwards are almost all new.

Pretty awesome lineup should be entertaining

Ideally we would put Anderson out there with two dmen and no other forwards so he can power donkey all over the ice , guy dosent need linemates clearly when you watch him play haha
