I agree 100%. It's obvious to anyone without a biased opinion that Vanecek is much better. For some reason though I still have a feeling Ruff runs with Blackwood for whatever reason. I just pray at the least for the home opener we start with Vanecek because I bought tickets. I'll be highly disappointed if it's Blackwood. There is 0 reason to have blind faith in him at this point. Just play the superior goalie & make Blackwood earn his spot back. No more of clinging onto the past (which wasn't even a long stretch of success)

A few too many false moves for Ruff and we'll be seeing a much younger face and much hairier head in the center of the bench soon enough.

Our defensive coverage looks so random. two guys together trying not to fall on each other. Other trying to leave the D zone

Ruff is going on to go with whoever he thinks will win him games.

Everyone who actually works for the teams calls the goalies a tandem, only people on the board call Blackwood the consensus starter.

I don’t think Holtz should be cut. He’s a great complement to Hughes’ game and I’m sure he’d succeed with him. He’s looked good next to him in the preseason games.

And Fitz outsmarted himself with taking Stillman. And I rarely bitch about what could have been, but this one gnawls at me.
