Expected Bieksa to get the extra two for instigating there, but whatever. He got away with a pretty good pick on Doughty, early, too. These should be some spirited games when they meet again later in the season.
The ice looked pretty tough to play on and neither team could put together many passes, which contributed to the sloppiness overall. Mersh was effective in that context... and maybe Weal was less so.
Perry, Kesler, and Bieksa all on the same squad. Everybody is gonna hate the Ducks, not just Kings' fans.
mersch could even do half a season in AHL like shore did last year, and then get the call up? but he's been playing every game which does make one wonder.
there are 32 left in camp and they have to trim it down to 23 still right? 9 cuts to make?
I don't usually mind Perry and I appreciate his shenanigans for what they are but if you're going to be a pissbaby about a bump and slash and hook a guy like Clifford, don't stand there and stare him down like you're going to do something.
I agree, if he doesn't make it now I could see Mersch either being the first callup or taking the Voynov track to the NHL.
Can agree with that, Shore hasn't done anything to impress me, but I will fully admit limited viewing. Add that to his waiver eligibility and it's just an easier move to make.
I'm not going to battle with you on this, just take my statement as feedback. Because someone disagreed with you about Andreoff, you immediately went to battle and went back to your old "King is a golden boy" which is 1. a completely unnecessary retort unrelated to Andreoff 2. not true and 3. something we already discussed in another thread. It's becoming trolling.
Plenty of people have had positive things to say about Andreoff. Don't let confirmation bias destroy discussion.
Kings won't win the preseason championship.
Fire sale time.
I am taking your comments as feedback nothing more. I was using King as a person who was having a nothing game because he was Believe me or don't I don't hate him but i am not blind to his play like most. I could have just as easy used Nolan althou he was recovering from a ankle role so i gave him the benefit of the doubt. It was a retort to everyone saying andreoff was adding nothing to this team and imo king added nothing this entire preseason Yet because i am the only one stating it consistantly you think its not true i cant disagree more So agree to disagree Just because i disagree with your opinion its trolling how please email me this so i dont get a infraction
Next yes people did post andy had a good game i really wonder if i didnt say anything how many would have. Sometimes the sqeeky wheel gets the grease as the old saying goes.
Nope, that was chicken****, he tried to get some shots in before Clifford could square up...
I could have sworn they fought before but I can't find it. So instead, I found something else everyone here will love.

The boldfaced is exactly my point. Please stop putting words in the forum's collective mouth.
It's not a huge deal, just pointing out that not everything has to do with Dwight King.
And as much as I don't necessarily like it because I think it's too much cementhead on one line, I think Andreoff sticks on the 4th. Shore might bring more IQ, but Andreoff is actually playing his way into it.
The Kings are quite possibly the most offensively inept team in the league
I wouldn't have a problem if the Vets looked sharper.
They look like they have never played hockey in some instances.
After last season, and missing the playoff's, some of the Veterans should look a lot better than they do.
Preseason or not.
Don't understand what those worried about Looch are expecting from him at this point? To my eyes last night he looked the most comfortable yet. He's learning only his 3rd system in his career since he was 16 years old. That takes time. He's still thinking out there. Once he's confident he's in the right areas when he shoukd be, he'll get back to read/react type play. Started to see some of that last night. Can't wait to watch him go at it with Perry and Bieska regularly. Anyways, all this just my own two cents.
