i have and it looks like another quick round 1 exit for themDid you look at the Leafs line-ups? They have their top 4 Ds and their top 6 is only missing Matthews.

More time to spend with his GF.No Mesar on the last chance lineup. Very telling.
It was my choice for our 3rd line this year, let's see how they look tonight against Toronto full squad minus Matthews.Roy-Kapanen-Armia is going to look so good.
Do the Ds even comply with pre-season game vets requirements?
They won't even outplay the kids 5 on 5 , we will take a bunch of penalties and get destroyed on the pp for sure thoughDid you look at the Leafs line-ups? They have their top 4 Ds and their top 6 is only missing Matthews.

Kapanen on the 2nd line and Engstrom on RD... these are two things I'll be paying close attention to.
Dvorak vs Kapanen vs Beck for the 3c spot should be interesting. Dvo feeling the pressure for sure, he'll probably have a good game.
Yea, we all thought Harris was a pretty vanilla player, but Dvorak is on another level. I do think some coaches might appreciate his "consistency", even though he can't really elevate his game to another level.100%. These little details shows us what MSL is testing them at.
I think someone like Anderson has more to provide (multiple levels). We seen that with Armia last year. However, for someone like Dvorak, I'm not sure he has multiple levels to play up to. He requires two very good wingers to get more stats. Otherwise, he will continue to do what he does which is the boring stuff.

I agree Beck and Kapanen are in the chairs they see them in down the road. After tonight, 3 preseason games are left. And the final two are much closer to the actual roster. So after tonight and Saturday, a bunch of guys will be cut.
My guess is after tonight, at least Kidney, Engstrom, and Tuch will be cut to join the Laval group. I think guys like Heineman, Kapanen, and Beck will remain and given more chances to be evaluated. And although Reinbacher will surely start in Laval, I think he'll likely get at least another game.
Trading Dvo with some retention could facilitate, but at this point of the rebuild, I could care less about the draft picks coming in. I just don't want him to block a prospect that might've beat him for his spot.I agree. I think he has more trade value than what some think. Coaches do love consistency and guys who can win faceoffs. This is more of a cap issue than he sucks issue. Teams are just very protective of their cap after going to cap hell through covid years.
I just don't see him rebounding into a 50+ pts player. If fans are hoping for that, it's a reach. He won't get the usage to put up those numbers.
Too bad Arseneau didn't get a game somewhere. Quebec kid, probably would have been happy to pull on the jersey, even if it's for a pre-season game
Yeah it is because as much as people are talking about Dvo.Roy, Kapanen, Armia is very interesting.
