Palmieri looks like the guy in the gyro shop that cuts the meat without facial hair.

He's also one of those guys that has the perma-shadow, even after a good shave. I'm the same way.

I always wondered if once the beard turned gray and there was hardly any black left in it, maybe that shadow would be gone, but it isn't.

And it's weird because I don't have the thickest of beards. The hair on my chin is super see-through whenever I grow a beard and always has been.
