Okay, so now I know why I thought Hogberg was the late 00s era Lightning goalie. His name was actually Holmqvist.

And the Islanders have a player named Holmstrom.

Hogberg, Holmstrom, Holmqvist, all Swedish surnames and players. Two of them goalies. One of them a forward. And the most well-known Holmstrom is the Red Wings forward from 1.5-2 decades back.

Somehow I didn't think of Hedberg, the former Devils goalie, also from Sweden. He must be over 50 years old by now.

I think most guys look better without a beard, but then there's some that you can't get used to seeing without one, even 3+ years after shaving it. And just look better with the beard. I think he's one of them.
