2 penalties resulting from Dillon-Bauer getting hemmed in.

Heinola is such an awkward backwards skater.

Schmidt can't miss the net that bad from there like that. He sprung their guy.

A couple good setups by Cole on that pp.

Glad we got Brossoit back and aren't going to rely on the Rittich/Delia types for backup this year. Everything on net becomes an adventure

I was getting PTSD with some good Rittich flashbacks there

AJF really needed to get that puck deep rather than trying to pass to Harkins. Let Harkins chase the puck deep, instead it was an immediate turnover.

Nice quick pass through the neutral zone by Heinola to Niederreiter.

Heinola can stretch a pass, that's for sure.

Very smart play by Chibrikov on the breakout.
He knew that the angle was wrong to receive a cross ice pass, so he skated backwards instead to make the angle work for his line mate.
Love that!

Yeah, who needs a neutral zone exit strategy when the defenseman can put that on the forward's tape from that far out? Feels like we haven't had that since Enstrom.

I was often impressed by Buffs ability to hit the tape on a stretch also. But yeah, a smart exit pass that reliably leads to a Jets chance is something the team has lacked for yonks.

Makes the team so much quicker and fewer five alarm fires in the Jets end.
