Roy should have been rushed since all of his Q experience probably either hampered him or delayed the inevitable. I mean, how can anyone actually argue his last year in juniors and the WjC had a positive impact ?

From what I’ve been reading he’s developed his defensive game a lot over the past year. I think it was time well spent.

He was a lot better in junior than those guys though. The last of our prospects i can remember who has shown that level of leadership in the CHL was Tucker. It's not only about point. Roy dominated junior in many different form that just scoring goals.

I think you're going too far there. Nick Suzuki had an even more impressive run with Guelph. His playoff performance was the stuff of legends.

IQ and skill will always make you a successful NHLer. Would be nice if we focused on those two assets first and foremost when drafting instead of character and their answers on our own version of the CASPer test.
