Sancho is in Mbappe's tier we read on this site a while ago...
Not from United fans though!
I mean that was only like 1 guy who said that, but I don’t think anyone here really thought he was Mbappe tier. Everyone here rated before the United move. Clearly the team is an issue and he’s shown a little promise as he was decent(relative to the squad) to end the year. But he also needs to improve and assert himself in matches more.

Just finished the game. Just a deeply mediocre overall. First half was the bad side of mediocre, second was the good side of mediocre.

Very clear the team is severely lacking in stable midfield players which completely disconnects things.

Haaland might completely run away with the goal race, even if he was expected to win it anyways.

Haaland will score 100 goals this season if teams give KdB space in the midfield and lanes open for runs like that.
They didn’t “give” them space. West ham had to press and go for a goal as they’re only down a goal. City played around it expertly.

Haaland doesn't even look particularly in sync with everyone, so this could get absurd as the season goes on.

Newcastle has had 6 corners in 19 minutes. On pace for 28 corners.

Forest weren’t doing *too* badly until the Schar goal, lots of possession but not many chances for Newcastle.

In the end though it was a deserved defeat and a bit of an eye opener. Can’t get too panicky when you’re playing away at a team who will in all likeliness finish top 6-8 though.

Benrahma has Westham’s 1st shot on target of the game but Moyes wants to sell him
I want to sell him too, he’s really not been good. Had he played the full 90 in a game where West Ham had actually possessed the ball you’d have gotten the full arc: miscontrol, cross into the stands, and ten giveaways.

Frustrating player, but he has talent.

That last play, no one within 10 yards and a cross into the shins.

Benrahma has Westham’s 1st shot on target of the game but Moyes wants to sell him
speaking of football genius David Moyes. Here is the power of Man City.

for a team trying to get into the European qualification places, game one, at home, they purposefully leave Diop at home, play with one center back and put in a performance like this. Incredibly cowardly performance here.

would rather play shorthanded and let the other team have 80% possession than put in an effort. And no one will be arsed because of it. This is why City win every year. No one cares when they play them because of their reputation.
