Speculation: Predict a trade that's going to happen at the trade deadline.

Buffalo needs a scoring winger to push for top spot in the division. They look to Stl because Vrana is leading the league in goals with 45. Get one of Buffalo’s D prospects and their first rounder in 2024.

Blues then trade KK, who has put up a career high in points to the Kings for their first rounder in 2024.

Blues finish by trading Krug to a playoff team that needs a pp specialist, for a 2024 3rd rounder

I don’t have a specific trade in mind BUT I think if penguins are in danger of missing playoffs a second year I expect Big BIg BIG changes there. This also depends on if they land EK before season starts as to just what they will and won’t have available

Fleury deal would make sense, playoff proven goalie, oilers will make playoffs yet again but they need that kind of experience in net to get them to a cup
 
With the Maple Leafs out of the plaoff picture and the Arizona Mullets securing a playoff spot, Toronto trades Matthews to desert.

all seemed to be perfectly realistic up till you started to project multiple stanley cups for the rangers.

oh, you were talking about the islanders in regards of the stanley cups. still a long shot, but not impossible.

Buffalo will need to get a goalie. Theyll almost certainly realize the incredibly stupid mistake they’ve made long before the deadline though…but Adams doesn’t do things so they’ll probably still need one then. Of course they could be too far out of it by then that they won’t address it until the off-season. Where they come up with another reason to not do anything for the fifth off-season in a row.
