Remember when we just bad because we had so many road games, and we were playing all those really good western conference teams?

Yeah.

Yeah.

Mentally weak. Not enough talent. No heart.

We are the New York Bluejackets. It is official.

Say what you want about our inability to score, but Hank needs to be better than that.

An 8.5 million dollar goalie shouldn't be outplayed by his opponent on a nightly basis. The team didn't play well, but Hank needs to be better. The 2nd goal tonight was inexcusable and he should've had the 3rd one too, can't let the puck slide in front from the back of the net like that.

I love Hank, it hurts to watch him struggle like this.

Second this.

You know what? All day at work today, all I wanted was the rangers to play a good game... I used to look forward to wins, and think of who would score, match ups etc. sad.

Can't defend, Hank sucking, still an Offensive Black Hole what seems like forever......Seriously the team needs goal scorers like there is no tomorrow !!

It's December and I've already had it.

I'm sick of other team's 4th liners coming in and having the games of their lives.

I'm sick of other teams running Lundqvist and having it go unpunished

I'm sick of 3rd string goalies shutting us down.

I'm sick of the heart and hustle

And Callahan is hurt now, not that it's a big loss at this point.

Having an EN goal scored against you effectively prevents any chance of a comeback.

Before the Kreider PP goal, when was the last time we scored a goal with the goalie pulled? 2012 WAS game 5?

I suppose I shouldn't tell you that much research on the subject has been done and all models have shown that coaches are much too conservative with how often and when they pull the goalie and the optimal time when down 1 is ~3:00 remaining?

You live in a city with a supremely more talented, more devoted hockey team. Would you root for them?

Theatre of the ****ing Absurd.

- Let's go.
- We can't.
- Why not?
- We're waiting for a Goal.
- (despairingly) Ah!

The backup's backup.

It's very disappointing and frustrating that the defense, goaltending, and compete level have regressed after those were areas of strength for us in previous seasons. We know the players are capable of playing better in these areas. They have to get their heads out of their ***** and AV has to put them in a position to succeed. With over a third of the season complete, AV should seriously reconsider whether man defense is appropriate for this team.

The organization is still pushing the "we are a skill team" mantra, which is never going to work for this team. In order to score goals, the Rangers are going to have to get dirty and crash the net and screen the goalie more often. There is a very big disconnect between what the team thinks it is and what they actually are.

Nashville set the sport back 50 years tonight.

The officials let them get away with pre-lockout tactics that would make Jacques Lemaire happier than Sidney Crosby in a San Francisco bathhouse.

That said, the Rangers played like they had to catch the 10:15 to Yonkers or something. No effort, from ANYBODY, including the all-world average goaltender.

Gonna take a lot of time and forward thinking to turn the future towards us.

Good place to start would be waive Dominic Moore.

So that you can get an EN goal scored against you earlier?

I mean their first two goals were both jokes. One with McDonagh being tripped behind the net leading directly to a call and then on the second one Weber just completely tackled Moore in the crease and what do you know but Moore was the one who wasn't able to get back and defend the rush. That being said we didn't play nearly well enough anyway but the two points aren't mutually exclusive.

Can we finally blow it up and have a true rebuild? That is the way to win the cup in the salary cap era. I am glad I got to witness 1994 because it's becoming obvious that's the last cup we'll ever see.
