TT needs to take a page out of Gostisbehere's book. He got benched for three games and had a great attitude going back in. Sometimes you just got to park your sensitivity and move forward. You'd think any player that's worked hard enough to make it to the NHL would have figured that out.

I personally don't even think Teravainen has been that bad since the scratch. I think there's definitely been worse players than him during that stretch.

Much like geehaad, I think the Peters accountability thing is way overblown. Much like any coach, he has lines that he draws when it comes to doling that out. And I also strongly agree that knowing what a player will and won't respond to is important, and it's not a weakness to respond to things differently.

It seems somewhere in the middle....TT has been better than immediately before the scratch, but not as good as early in the season. However, I don't think it was as much punitive as it could have been. Early in the season last year, Rask was scratched and he was specifically paired with somebody up in the booth so they could work on similar situations that he was getting wrong. I suspect something similar happened to TT.

Im actually excited for this game and im not as pessimistic. There should be plenty of goals so it will be exciting either way. Better than 1-0 Devils snoozefests even if we lose.

You seem to have a strange obsession with the Devils.

BTW, the Devils have scored plenty of goals in Raleigh this year.

It might surprise you do learn this, but different people sometimes react differently to similar things.

But your post is an excellent example of the macho attitude in sports that makes them toxic to a lot of people.
