I hope we can win this to kinda close the black hole in my heart for last year.

Things I'm looking at tonight:

1. Liljegren vs Sandin. Who wants to step up to take that final spot on D
2. How does Tavares look coming off of that scary incident
3. Can Bunting be a legit top 6 winger for us / how does he mesh with JT
4. Is Ho-Sang going to look like a man who's come in to steal a spot, or look like just another fringe guy.
5. How does Gabriel do in his performance trying to bid for that 13th Forward spot

The first and VERY IMPORTANT! One of our whole season's most important games coming up tomorrow night. Against the montreal canadiens whom beat us in the playoffs... we have to show the place of a table right now. From early on. Even with our fists. We might want to rumble early and roar with our heads high. Real loud and hard. Lets see whom will play and with whom. The first powerplay unit is also real exciting to see whom they have. Our new coaching suckas is interesting also to see and exciting I might add sire.
Sire, someone hijacked coach twerk’s account…

It's going to take a lot more than that for me. But a win tonight would be nice, even in a meaningless exhibition game.
True. But winning this game will sort of close that black hole. But then it’ll abruptly collapse in on itself due to remembering last years version of a choke

A lot to look forward to today.
Scott in net is something I want to see.
Lilgren is he legit or not.
Did Sandin improves his skating

It’s always hard to gleam much fromthese games, because it doesn’t resemble real hockey in the slightest, particularly the early games. Compete and jam is about the only thing to see, who looks focused and prepared to make another step. Robertson, Sandin, Lil should dominate, it’s easy hockey.

It's incredibly easy to not root for Ho Sang, you just don't know him yet. Just wait.
Its entirely up to him.

Let's hope for the best.

The internal competition this year is the best I've ever seen it. That's one thing I will give Dubas credit for.

I actually like all of the defense pairings in camp and their potential. Also gives us a preview of how the top 4 D could look next year if Sandin/Liljegren take the next step and we lose Rielly to FA.

Sandin/Brodie have a 65% CF in limited NHL action.

Muzzin/Liljegren have 70% CF in limited NHL action.

If we can afford to give them a steady partner for the first 10-15 games that can carry the play, the payoff can be tremendous for these kids.
