I find it funny when some fans say this team is terrible, our lineup tonight is missing Matthews, Marner, Rielly, Ritchie and one of our top goalies and still looks good enough to be a bubble team.

Why wouldn't he be allowed to play? I know he's not vaccinated but I believe he's already got covid during last season so he would have natural immunity wouldnt he?

If he is allergic to something in the shot, he may have to wait? Not sure. Looks like he's playing anyway.

This Nylander-Kerfoot thing better just be because they're spreading the talent on a split roster.

If the cost of Ho-sang making the team is Nylander gets third liner 5 on 5 minutes....I'm not interested. Move wild Bill to LW if Ho-Sang impresses
 
Was hoping to see this Douglas kid in the lineup to see him for the first time.

Hopefully he makes it in to another preseason game.

I actually suspect that a Nylander/Kerfoot line would rival the Tavares line in terms of playing time. Who is the 2nd or 3rd line would be blurred. The Nylander/Kerfoot line may get more minutes than Tavares line some nights. Plus, Nylander and Tavares should see PP time, whereas Kerfoot will see PK time.

They know Nylander/Kerfoot works so if they can get a Tavares line producing, they are thinking they would have 3 good lines. Tavares has a history of not needing great players to be productive. Bunting seems like the kind of player that would mesh with Tavares, and Ho-Sang is there because they probably think the only way to keep his head on his straight, is playing with Tavares.

Would like to see how Ho-Sang, Bunting and Liljegren play, but can't find where/if the game is available anywhere in Finland :(
 
Didn't realize we were only playing Montreal and Ottawa in the preseason. Oh well, at least hockey is back.

This is not optimal. Nylander/Tavares duo should be a clear cut second line especially with Nylander on the cusp of hitting his ceiling. Their impact together is elite, it's not worth splitting them up just go create more depth.

If H0-Sang makes the second line Nylander should be moved to LW. LW is our weakest position. With Nylander on it, it suddenly becomes a strength. That is more efficient use of Ho-Sang making the team whether opinionated or viewed objectively.
