As I said, could easily play in a sheltered offensive role this year but we don't have the the ideal partner for him on the third pairing.

Yeah that's the tough part. The Flyers sheltered Ghost and he had a great rookie year. The next season they tried to make him play a more defensive role and he suffered. Last year they went back to sheltering him and he flourished. Just have to know how to use them. In the end it could be better to shelter him on the 3rd pairing playing PP2 rather then not. It would make PP2 damn lethal.

Trouba showed some signs of life that period.

Morrissey was great all around.

Niku flashed his offense and exhibited his defensive short commings.

Poolman was not very impressive

Brossoit has really settled in nicely

Ehlers is starting to get rev up his game

Rosslovic was very good all around

Lemieux was ok but has trouble making good offensive decisions.

Dano playing well again but is stuck with fodder

Uteski no idea why they dressed him, same with Mginn

Seus having another solid showing.

Ehlers and Niku are standing out over the other Jet players to me.

It's so good to see all these young kids making a case for themselves. Niku, Lemmy, Ves, Stanley and the like... no room for them all but like they say it's a good problem to have.

I've always liked Dano especially two years ago he was a favorite of mine, but when it comes to choosing between him and one of this younger kids I'd rather see one of the kids get that last spot on 3rd line.

Actually like the Lemieux/Roslo/Ehlers line so far. Thought Lemieux created a lot of offense with a couple of 2 on 1s and a nice screen on the PP, did some yeoman work on the PK too. I think in the end he and Dano are the 2 forwards for the PB to start the season for me.

I like CJ Seuss. I think he has a NHL future. Solid center ice play
Griffith with another solid game too

Niku offensively is top level. Ya he had that bad shift but he will learn. I just don't think there is a spot for him here yet.

I think Dano made the team already no matter what. As either 12 or 13th forward.

1spot left

if Jets keep 13 forwards. 3rd line RW

Either Dano can slot there.

If so: then better to send vesa to Moose/Finland and Lemieux down. Then Petan is the pressbox guy.

If Dano is the 13th forward. Vesa plays 3rd line. Petan and Lemiuex to the Moose.

Dano is only 23 for crying out loud.
