B. They would have taken 7th dman Dermott, would rather have McCann than Dermott especially with Liljegren and Sandin fighting for regular spots.

Glad you are not assessing talent. Reilly does not need to be sheltered. He just needs a competent d partner. Look at TJ without him. He sucked.
Anyone who knows hockey knows that speed is the last thing to go.
Muzzin needs to be traded before his contract is up. He is aging in front of our eyes and is a bandaid.
If the leafs do not resign Rielly they are in serious trouble on D.

I played junior in O for 4 years and pro hockey in I for well over 10 years .. can't disagree more .. not at all what I saw .. but fans don't really understand da game especially those who watch on TV .. but most Leaf fans and media types likely agree with you .. skating technique for those who have it stays .. but speed goes with father time

I prefer McCann over ALL OF THEM quite easily. McCann is a good player and makes less than Kerfoot, Holl is dust without Muzzin. Terrible decision by Dubass but are we surprised?

I know Rielly coached him and watched him play a lot. The kid is a natural skater who will retain his speed for a long time. He has great feet and edges. I have been a paid coach for a good portion of my adult life he we are giving out our resume.
You are wrong. Look at the effortless skaters over the years for the answer.
