He is not an everyday player. If he plays everyday, Rangers have injuries or their depth is not that good

It is VERY possible the reason why the Rangers historically (aside from 1994) cannot sustain pressure, or skate fast, or hustle, or score 5v5, or whatever it is they don't do well is because of their Jerseys. Not many teams have a jersey with asymmetrical lettering like that; it's possible their balance is thrown off.
