What kind of players did you guys get? Mine are worse than the Beta team. Top player is 166or. One player showing over 78AQ, and he's an insane 97AQ. I guess I should sell him? He's also third on the team at 158or.

Thanks all! Getting some nice Poisson-like curves here. Will fit them once I get around 50 data points and can tell you what percentile your team is in :)

I set my own lineup, and tactics based on what I think should happen... sooo we'll see how that goes.

I'm treating my Pivot & Wings like Center & Wings and the 2 outside Bs as D's in hockey and the CB sort of like a midfielder?

Many big games on my schedule today.

In hockey, I have the STL Saints with the winner moving on to the quarterfinals of the NC. We're currently tied for 4th in the league and separated by 1 OTS.

In soccer, the Boilermakers are traveling to FC Corona-land with a 5-point lead in the standings. An 8-point lead with 8 matches to go sounds a lot better than a 2-point lead with 8 matches to go, especially with my team's expected drop in performance due to energy.

And of course, handball season starts and the Derby City Elite's challenge to advance from Division IV begins.
 
First win of the season. Had a 4 goal lead late in the 2nd half but gave it up, luckily scored with about 16 seconds left to get the win by 1 goal. But i did burn lots of energy going H/VH.

I kind of got cought in tactics. Was reading somewhere online that 3-2-1 defensive positioning is effective against backs scoring, if anyone is interested :)

Also it's kind of sad how first players on market are getting such stupid bids, player with 2% AvQ is over 1.2M. I wonder if i'm gonna regret not quickly checking all my players and putting one on the market.

Btw how did some of your players train? I had two at 0.08, one at 0.09 and one (best player on team) at 0.11. I wonder if it would be smart to sell of of my top two players (both 161 OR, one very good Qs, other one trash Qs)? Sell now or at the end of the season where there will be more money to go around?

Good to know, thanks! I was lucky and have the 3rd player and 2nd staff on the market. My crappy lecturer is selling for over 1M. My players trained much the same as yours, best was 0.11 and was my best player.

Regarding selling, up to you. I for one will be loading up on better players in a couple weeks to help win early. You don't have the facilities now to train them so no point acquiring prospects, just better players. The problem is a better player is only a little bit better than a regular player.
 
I am hoping to get a full game from my pivot. My last 2 beta games the pivot quit in the second half or was benched... Mind you was getting killed in the first half.... So thinking benched. But the second half almost won both games playing 1 player short handed.... lol

Up against ziggy for my first game... II.1 battle begins.

My player has had zero bites... The Physiotherapist is at 30k now

3- .09
4 -.08


On a side note from what I have been reading the 4-2 defence is used against a primary back offence due to 2 players remaining around the 9m line.
