No right thread. Brother wants out bad.Wrong thread?
At least Hall has some pride.
Probably not, Seguin-Duchene-Marchment was Dallas best line before Seguin got injured.Do you guys think Dallas would trade Seguin for Jones?
Johnston, Benn, Duchene, Dadonov and Borque all need contracts next year. Meanwhile on D they could use someone stronger next to Heiskanen, Harley and Lindell. Only options are Dumba, Lundkvist, Bischel and Lyubushkin.
I think it makes more sense to upgrade on D when they have more ready forwards.
Seguin in our till April unfortunately, I don't think they would do him dirty. But maybe we can revisit this in the off-season.
Dumba + Marchement would be even better, but I dont think that is something Dallas would do.
Miller is 31 and apparently a headcase. No way I want him around a rebuilding club with a limited leadership group. Not that it makes any difference but there is chatter about the Nucks leaning towards making a major roster change, possibly trading Miller.
Nick Kypreos: The curious case of Auston Matthews will determine the Leafs’ next move. But maybe not the way fans expect
There’s no doubt that Matthews’ lingering injury will have a significant impact on how this season will play out for the Leafs, writes Nick Kypreos.www.thestar.com
Kyper’s Korner
It’s sounding like the Vancouver Canucks are leaning toward a major roster change as it becomes clearer to management that the current roster — specifically feuding stars J.T. Miller and Elias Pettersson — cannot co-exist. Don’t be surprised if we start hearing the Canucks are willing to take calls on Miller.
I don't know what his problem is exactly but Petterson is not the player he once was.I would do some pretty nasty things to our roster to get Elias Petterson.
Hall+ Dickinson+Rinzel+TML 1st.
Sign Marner.
Dach(Nazar) Bedard Marner
TT Petterson Bertuzzi
Vlasic Jones
Korch Levshunov
Draft Martone for Bedard/Marner spot.
Petterson is a CLASSIC top 10 player in the league needing a change of scenery. Miller and Media have ginded him down. You throw the kitchen sink. He's the Hossa acquisition, just premature in our timeline so it isn't a perfect fit.I don't know what his problem is exactly but Petterson is not the player he once was.
As for Marner, I doubt Leafs let him go. Tavares, on the other hand, should be available who I wouldn't mind for a reasonable cost.
Probably Nylander could be had from Leafs as well (but no thanks to acquiring him. He's a cherry picker and not a team player.
Kyle doesn't have the cojones to pull the trigger. His next big move is going to be Alex Killorn for future considerations or some other washed vetThe more posts I read about EP, the more I think I'd be in favor of making a move for him. Let him center Bedard and move him to RW for the time being. Gives you a ton of flexibility for who can then slot to the LW spot.
Get it done, Kyle.
I’d do the that Jones trade so fast Vancouver’s head would spin.Nazar, 1st, Hall/Murphy/Dickinson for Petterson
Levshunov for Petterson
Unprotected 2025 1st for Petterson
Teravainen 1st, Hall/Murphy/Dickinson for Petterson
Levshunov for Petterson
Rinzel, 1st, Hall/ Murphy/Dickinson for Petterson
Jones 3M retained (waiver necessary) + TML 1st for Petterson
The same guy that almost landed Demidov after drafting Lev doesn't have balls....Kyle doesn't have the cojones to pull the trigger. His next big move is going to be Alex Killorn for future considerations or some other washed vet
Jones at 6.5M would be a pretty nice piece I'd add to it as well. It would effectively make EP a 14.6M player on your roster which is about 1-1.5M more than he's worth but 13M is like what you're paying Marner or Rantanen anyway.I’d do the that Jones trade so fast Vancouver’s head would spin.
But as opposed to Lev or Nazar, it’s not giving away anyone who is part of the future. It would feel like getting EP for free.Jones at 6.5M would be a pretty nice piece I'd add to it as well. Its genuinely hilarious the Canucks trade rumor thread has like 500 replies only to be a giant pile of spamJust cant take these Vancouver rumours seriously anymore.
Every day it's a 'Canucks are about to make a move', one day it's EP for sure, next day it's Miller, than again 'Vancouver could be making a move soon', blabla.
What is going on there? You don't hear this much shit from any other team, not even Toronto.
