EDIT: GM MacLellan said on July 3 at development camp that the team is probably done making moves. His plan is to go into the year with 8 NHL D.

Ryan Leonard said he considered a Caps offer to turn pro for next year, but ultimately decided to try and win a championship with BC. Wants to be fully developed when he makes the jump to DC. So he's not coming this year.

Wouldn't be shocked if they signed a utility 14th forward (last year it was Chris Tierney) and Nolan Foote ended up hitting the waiver wire or being moved. Erik Haula played a chunk of last season on the Hughes line, but we'll see how the new coaching staff chooses to deploy them.

Calgary will be a bit of a blender, and likely still have a 2nd pair defenseman to sign whether that’s Kylington or otherwise. Currently probably looks something like:
