Had a look at my top 32 and it has barely changed due to the lack of hockey I've watched this month, too much studying full time and work to feel comfortable. Here it is as of March 19th:

This is starting to be pretty close to a final form. Tiers probably will stay, just order inside tiers might change. If anything, then bottom tier is the one that is going to have most chances from now on. I mostly look in order: pace of play, speed, skill, iq, and size as a combination from players.

I think I have decent read now on Reinbacher since managed to watch few games on him so I am confident about his tier.

I've had Yager and Heidt more higher than most people pretty consistantly and it ain't changing now. I just like them pretty well on the way they play.

Whole top ten is about guys I really like a lot. Cristall and Leonard are guys who just barely missed the cut but they ain't no slouches either.

Not gonna have too many chances to watch WHL etc playoffs due to work causing busy time now. I still want to have a look at Simashev and Wallinder maybe. I have had only small look on Simashev so I am not that confident at ranking him yet.

Why is Hameenaho ranked so high? I could be off, but he doesn’t seem like a top 20 pick to me at all. He projects as like a bottom-six two-way player.

Highest scoring first time draft eligible Liiga seasons of the the last decade:

Kakko 38 points
Laine 33 points
Kotkaniemi 29 points
Rantanen 28 points
Puljujarvi 28 points
Lundell 28 points
Turkulainen 26 points
Kemell 23 points
Hameenaho 21 points

Lenni has a fantastic shot and there is definitely upside as a top 6 complimentary winger who plays fantastic defense. He has been a top offensive producer at every level he has played at. He might not have the dynamic play driving style of some, but his well roundedness will take him far into today’s NHL. I think he’s one of the most NHL-ready prospects in the draft.

I'd also like to post this kind of list, as my knowledge of the 2023 draftees is currently really limited.

1. Bedard
2. Fantilli
3. Michkov
4. Carlsson
5. Leonard
6. Benson
7. Smith
8. Barlow
9. Dvorsky
10. Wood
11. Sale
12. Reinbacher
13. Yager
14. Cristall
15. Heidt

No worries, thanks for your opinion.

I think he’s close to NHL ready. I agree with that. But, the offensive upside isn’t there for me at the next level. I just don’t see the offensive tools you’d want in a top 20 pick in this draft especially not ahead of guys with dynamic offensive upside like Cristall. I think he is a good skater and is good along the boards. Could be a late first/early 2nd. But, Leeni at 19 just seems high.

Where (the f***) is Perreault?

Well, I won't criticize you guys too much without posting a list myself:

1-Bedard
2-Michkov
3-Fantilli
4-Carlsson
5-Smith
6-Benson
7-Dvorsky
8-Sale
9-Moore
10-Cristall
11-Barlow
12-Danielson
13-Reinbacher
14-Perreault
15-Yager
16-Ritchie
17-But
18-Leonard
19-Wood
20-Heidt
21-Honzek
22-Dragicevic
23-Ziemmer
24-Sandin Pelikka
25-Gulyayev
26-Gauthier
27-Musty
28-Simashev
29-Dower Nilsson
30-Nadeau
31-Stramel
32-Hrabal

How do you have Leonard 14+ spots above him? Have you seen what Perreault does when that team plays against the USHL? Do you think it is easy to put up 100+ points on the USNTDP?

Perreault is a really good glue guy from my observations, could be a great PP player in particular, and I totally see why someone would value him higher than myself. I just don't see him as having better high end potential than the guys ahead of him, simple as that.

Who would be at #15?
Uups. I just skipped a number apparently. Basically a guy is missing from bottom of the draft. I have been considering throwingv Dimitri Simashev around end of first but not sure yet. Also Nick Lardis has been a consideration.

This is what happens when you do the list late at night and copy it from your notes.

Those are some bold rankings my friend. Completely agree with the Brindley and Barlow rankings and I like the love for Sawchyn. But, why is Fantilli rated so low? Are you worried about his offensive production at the next level?
