Post Training Camp Roster Discussion

How that guy continues to steal money from teams, I'll never know

Atleast he showed up in the playoffs for the Kings in 2012, we can't take that away from him.

But yes, thankfully the Kings only gave him a one year deal, wish the same could be said of other players.

I was surprised by the pretty long answers Sutter was giving during preseason interviews, but it looks like normal Sutter is back:

On whether he has “given much thought” to the goaltending rotation this week:
It’s not a rotation. [Reporter: Quick in both games?] I don’t know. He might get hurt in warmup.

On whether Dustin Brown is “good to go” for Thursday’s game:
Yep.

On “firming up the lines”:
There’s no ‘firming of lines’ in the National Hockey League, quite honest. [Reporter: Do you have something set for the first game, at this point?] No. Yesterday we had 13 forwards. 13 forwards and eight defensemen, so it changes game-to-game, and it changes tomorrow, and we don’t play for a while again.

Yup I am a bandwagon fan. Season tickets since 1971. Married a girl 21 years ago and the only request I had was she never ask me to give up watching a Kings game unless she was ready to give birth. She has kept her promise. Look I was being 1/2 serious but the 3rd and 4th lines bore me to death. It's like watching my daughters hamsters on the wheel using alot of energy but going nowhere.

Hey, you're the one who suggested that you disappear for the regular season and come back if things are going well. That doesn't sound bandwagonish to you?

The third and fourth lines get what, 10 minutes or less of ice time per game? It's the top players stepping up that we need to be concerned about. Of course they need support from role players, but they also need guys like Brown and Kopitar not to tail off like they did last season. And it would be great if Doughty didn't have another slow start to the season as well.
