Wrong. My point is that Verbeek shouldn't break that 6'2" streak on an undersized D in a position the team is already deep in. I'd be delighted if they drafted Demidov and he is under 6'2".

Which would then be drafting based on need which they clearly stated was not the formula they are following.

Preferring Levshunov, Demidov, Sennecke, Lindstrom, or Silayev above Buium is not basing anything on need. It's my preference. I think Buium is completely redundant for this team and I shudder at the thought of an NHL defense that will be that small.
