i like clowe, heck i like most of the sharks lineup, but i dunno. i want sniper quality in whateve we trade for. still, i wouldnt say no to the guy. hed be a solid devils player.
like others have said, i wouldnt mind seeing what pesonen has to give as a fourth liner or bottom sixer.

I don't think there is a single forward in the system not on this team with enough ability to make this team. Tedenby is fading fast, and the rest of Albany isn't much better. A forward needs to be brought in desperately.
Is it odd that I feel like I'd rather trade Merrill than Gelinas to get that forward? I feel like the return for Merrill would be a lot higher than the return for Gelinas, but the gap in ability between the two isn't that large.

Still like the idea of perry and trying like mad to sign him. Unless he's dead set on testing the market. I've read he likes the quiet life and the devs could def provide the whole incognito star thing. I like iginla as u guys are saying, but the cost....and the flames will be issues. They need to make the playoffs and he's their best chance.

I've also been wanting Clowe on the Devils for quite some time now. I love his gritty-yet-skilled game. But as long as the Sharks keep rolling, they won't want to rattle the locker room like that.
I would really like to see nik Antropov brought in as a rental. He's huge and from what I've seen of his game, I like the way he plays. (But I haven't REALLY watched him play since he left NYR)

That would be awesome, but getting Iginla is a pipe dream. For starters, they'd probably ask for Henrique.
I'd be happy with that. Clowe and Clarkson are in that rare mould of players who can fight and score with equal proficiency, ending up with at least 10 goals and 10 fights in every full season. Having one is nice, having two would be amazing.
Put Clowe with Clarkson and Zubrus, and we'd have an even better Crash Line. I don't want to know who we'd have to send to SJ though, he wouldn't come cheap and we're probably talking roster players. They don't need defencemen either.
You say that like we want to be rid of Larsson. Take it from us, he isn't going anywhere.

San Jose is one of the few teams similar to us who have a pretty solid group on defense in terms of quality and numbers and a team that likely will look for a forward before the playoffs. Clowe is not happening unless it's in July. I'd say if it looks like Clarkson or Zubrus doesn't come back come FA, I would not be stunned to see Lou in on Clowe. But Clowe will also be in high demand, so we'll see.
ponikarovsky-antropov-zubrus would be a dream 3rd line in the playoffs. just total physical domination.

he had a bad meal in stockholm. since then, hes held a grudge. he actually told josefson that if he scores, hes getting both legs broken. i think hes done a convincing job. he looks like hes trying to score but hes just making sure his legs dont get kerrigand.
