Very true. I hate the Redwings, but I like their players. I hate the Pens, but I like their players.
That sort of thing.
But there are players in our organization that I did not like, like..................................................................Robert Kron!
And yes, there is more to the story than his suckage as a hockey player.
I don't hate anyone associated with the CBJ currently or in the past....with the possible exception of the guy who sat behind us the first 7 seasons and believed it was his duty to educate everyone in the general area about all things hockey while also practicing to be the next CBJ play-by-play guy.
And how could Anson Carter even be on this list? My sons spent that season shouting "He's a one man army!" every time he touched the puck. And I was glad that they did as it helped to drown out the play-by-play occurring behind us.

I think its generally accepted that Anson Carter was on his last legs and had nothing left in the tank by almost everyone in the league, except Doug MacLean....
Basically, I think he's on the list because it was seen that he was stealing money from the organization.
Honestly, he's likely not even in my top ten. MacLean was desperate because he wasn't sure he could get Zherdev back from Russia. If anything, it was Doug MacLean's fault, ultimately, not Anson Carters for simply taking money offered.

That wasn't Anson's fault. Guy just wanted to play. Was a good locker room guy and good with fans. Was responsible for CBJ's awesome Christmas album.

George Mathews would crack my top ten. Guy was a complete tool to me and my younger brother when I met him several years ago after a development camp scrimmage.

Actually, I think they're a deal if you're a season ticketholder and have the $10 fan bucks you could buy for $7 in January. The 24 oz beers are only $6.25 using the fan buck after they give you $0.75 back. Not bad for mass produced average beers like Labatt's, Foster's, Corona, Yuengling, Heineken at a major sporting event.
As for the thread, kind of a waste of time hating.

He sucked as a GM, but he was a good team president and did a lot for hockey in Ohio.

Yeah, I think I will have to go with Jeff Carter despite the short stay. At least we can point to some positives that Foote and Doug Maclean did for the city, franchise, community, etc.

Carter did at least score goals for the Jackets unlike Foote who only scored goals for the other team while he was here.

I don't really 'hate' anyone in hockey, but I guess Foote is as close as it gets.
I have no idea why the broadcasters are on here. Embarassing, IMO. I understanding not liking their personalities or whatever, but hate? Really?
