CBJ with a back to back against the Caps, I doubt they win both...
Caps are resting Ovechkin and Chychrun. They don’t care about any of their last games. Jackets can easily win all 4 of their games.

Just saw they are also starting Hunter Shepard in net who has an .891 sv% in the AHL this year. Seems like the Caps want to actively lose.

we’re in a more precarious position than people think imo

Well afternoon games are starting soon.

12:30 PM: NYI @ Philadelphia - I think Flyers win this one; in which case Islanders are eliminated.

12:30 PM: Caps @ CBJ - I think Jackets win this one in regulation. Washington is playing some no name in net & sitting guys. Blue Jackets will still be in it before Montreal's game.

3 PM: NYR @ Carolina - Canes aren't playing well. They actually have the same record as NYR over last 10 games. However, they're playing a team that eliminated them from the playoffs last 2 years. Now is their chance for a little payback. Canes don't seem to be resting guys.

7 PM: Montreal @ Toronto - Same as last night, a regulation win eliminates everyone. An OTL eliminates NYI, NYR & Detroit, if they're not already eliminated.

10 PM: Wild @ Canucks - It sure would be nice if Minnesota could win a game! Wild are still 3 points from clinching with only 2 games. They don't need a regulation win - just a win will get them close.

10 PM: Blues @ Kraken - Blues could use a regulation win to ensure they win any tie breakers. Like Minnesota they're still 3 points from clinching with 2 games left.

ALRIGHT BOYS, It's clinching time

12:30 EST NY Islanders v. Philadelphia - PHI W, OT or Reg doesn't matter. If the Islanders grabs 1point or less, they are eliminated from the playoffs race.

12:30 EST Columbus v. Washington - WSH W, regulation. If Columbus gets a 1point, they are still in it. If they lose in regulation, they are out since we have the RW/ROW tiebreaker.

15:00 EST NY Rangers v. Carolina - CAR W, OT or Reg doesn't matter. If the Rangers grabs 1point or less, they are eliminated from the playoffs race.

19:00 EST Montreal v. Toronto
MTL RW : Clinch.
MTL ROW/SOW : Knocks everyone out except CLB. (If CLB got 2pts in regulation)
MTL OTL : Knocks everyone out except CLB. (If CLB got 2pts in regulation)
MTL Reg L : Riot in the streets.

__

22:00 EST Minnesota v. Vancouver - MIN W, they will be 5points ahead of the Flames and they have the RW/ROW tiebreaker

Let's get to that clinching, boys

Amen.

This fanbase is so fragile. The team is in the position they are in because they just had a 6 game winning streak. I swear people legitimately think they are going to win every game.

The Habs have earned themselves this position and have breathing room because of their play since 4 nations.

Would I like to see that x - Montreal already? Sure, but looking at the big picture, it's going to happen.

And I don't expect the Habs to win tonight either...
Fragility has nothing to do with it. Its as of people think we care that they're losing or that it affects us in any way. I didn't expect them to make the playoffs, and won't be disappointed if they do miss it.

The team hasn't played great despite winning games, that much should be obvious to a lot of "fans". If they make it, great, I just hope they don't get injured for a test run.

Yep, as I was saying. Jackets have the easiest schedule possible

Someone tried arguing with me that the Caps would try against them. Why?
