I think it's his best play. Kerfoot has elevated in both playoffs he's been a Leaf, and Nylander was our best player last playoffs. Engvall-Kampf-Mikheyev has formed a dependable 3rd line that can shit you down, contribute, and back you off with speed. Game 1 (assuming Bunting is back) I could easily see:

Bunting-Matthews-Marner
Kerfoot-Tavares-Nylander
Engvall-Kampf-Mikheyev
Clifford-Blackwell-Simmonds
Rielly-Lyubushkin
Muzzin-Brodie
Giordano-Liljegren

I think this is the way Keefe goes to start. First game is going to be high tempo and high on the emotions.... we're gonna want a physical 4th line to throw out, a 3rd line who you can count on, and 2 scoring units. Ready to get this thing going

I’ll say that Clifford and Simmonds have played well enough lately for me to want to get them into the series early to see if they can provide a boost.

Maybe not both at the same time, but we’ll see

Happy Matthews and Marner are both sitting tomorrow. If there’s retribution for Hall going on I don’t want either on the ice near Marchand

I haven't worn my jersey since the Leafs blew game 5 (or was it 6?) against the Habs. I hung it on the wall.

Today I ran my hand across the blue farbric and had a Vietnam-vet style series of painful flashbacks. Not yet, jersey...not yet.
I've got an autographed jersey from the Leafs goalie with the most (and second-most) saves in a playoff win.

(At least during the time when they kept track - I suspect Lorne Chabot made more in his 8+ period shutout in 1933.)

I won't even think of wearing it until we've won a couple of rounds.

I've also got a 30+ year old bottle of 25 year old Highland Park single malt scotch, that I won't open until we win the Cup.

Too many changes.

I'd be pretty worried about Boosh in a series against Tampa. He's a very limited player. With guys bearing down on him quickly, he doesn't have the mobility or IQ/passing ability to move the puck out of the defensive zone. Often just results in a punt (at best) and turnover at worst.

I think Holl should draw in over him.

Lyubushkin is physical and is needed against Tampa.

No rush Petr. As nice as it would be to have you play another two games as a sub .900 netminder before going down with injury again.
If the boat comes by, hop on it....should take you straight across to Robidas island
Kallgren and Mrazek ended up with an identical .888 save percentage, with an almost identical 3.31 GAA for Kallgren and 3.34 goals against for Mrazek.

Kallgren did have a pretty good run in the post season in the SHL last year. But, I'd probably still lean toward the experienced veteran in Mrazek if they needed someone to lean on.
